This web site is in response to the many questions we encounter when we are with a service dog or conducting training in the field.

Our intent is to compile important information
from the experts and present it in a format that is easy to read and understand.

We do not intend to reinvent the wheel, but rather to bring available resources and information together in one place to assist the reader with researching the laws, functions and abilities related to service dogs working with the disabled.

The content on this site consists of a compilation of resources and standards set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); the Department of Justice (DOJ); Assistance Dogs International (ADI); and International Association of Assistance Dog (IAADP), American Kennel Club (AKC) and Delta Society among other resources.
